Ages 15 months to 3 years

Full time 2, 3, 4 or 5 full days offered

Our Toddlers follow a daily schedule together, eating and napping at the same time. Individual, comfortable mats are provided by us. Parents provide bedding for their child's comfort. Parents will launder child's bedding weekly and as needed. Diapers, baby wipes, and change of clothing are required from parent. Nutritious snack and drink will be provided by us upon approval of parent.

Infant /Toddler Curriculum . Our program follows The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos, by Teaching Strategies, Inc. Teachers plan intentionally while maintaining the flexibility to respond to the changing interests and abilities of young children. Our teachers incorporate the five central components of nurturing care and teaching into their daily lesson plans;

• knowing infants, toddlers, and twos
• creating a responsive environment
• what children are learning
• caring and teaching
• partnering with families

Teachers offer activities that include the five routines and eight experiences that are essential to the development and learning of children birth to age 3;

• hellos and goodbyes
• diapering and toileting
• eating and mealtimes

• getting dressed

• enjoying stories and books
• creating with art
• connecting with music and movement
• tasting and preparing food
• exploring with sand and water
• going outdoors

A typical Infant/toddler day will include;

Supervised Free Play – Play mat with educational toys.
Story Time –Teachers read stories, nursery rhymes, discuss pictures to encourage language development.
Snack Time – Children wash hands, we provide a nutritious snack and juice/milk.
Bathroom Time – For toddlers in training.
Free Movement – Educational toys, talking, visual stimulations through books, outside activities.
Eye/Hand Coordination – Stacking blocks, opening boxes, pouring, ball play, puzzles, water play
Lunch & Toothbrushing – Our center provides a toothbrushing program.
Rest Time – Children rest on our individual mats. Cribs are provided for infants.
Memory Games – Hide and seek, peek-a-boo, hidden objects.
Sensory Learning – Things to look at, feel, touch, taste, hear, smell.
Music Time – music, music videos, rhythm exercises, singing.
Outside Time – Onsite playground
